guys I'm starting the 70-642 and subnetting is not my thing. I've tried a number of times to get my head around it and failed terribly. can anyone point me to an easy to understand step through?

I found Trainsignals CCNA videos have a excellent chapter from a guy called Chris Bryant on subnetting. You can also find his workbook about it, if you Google the three keywords. Once you truly understand it, it becomes quite easy.
