Is a H2.1 degree a High 2.1 or just a 2.1

Just wondering does the H before 2.1 mean a High 2.1 degree, or does the H just stand for honours, meaning that a H2.1 is 60% - 69%, and what is commonly just known as a 2.1

Well a 'high' 2.1 can mean anything really from mid 60's to 69. Best to check with the relevant dept. that issued the grade.

You should be able to calculate your own overall average by adding the results from all you modules and dividing the amount by the amount of modules you took.

for example if you got 70 percent in 6 modules and added them up you would get 420. divide this by 6 and you recieve your overall average.

by doing that you will be able to know if you have a high, or low 2.1!!!

H2.1 means an honours 2.1 degree AFAIK, I don't think they distinguish between different types of 2.1s when writing down your degree classification.
It could be anything from a 60 to a 60-69

1st = 70%+ = first-class honours

2.1 = upper second-class honours degree

2.2 = lower second-class honours degree
