strange prob with air

    hey - hoping someone has experienced this,
    mac air 10.6 8, only 6months old

    shutdown, leads to a restart !

    not 100% of the time and sudo shutdown works fine.

    Hmm is it the official mac OS? Have you been messing with any system files? That happened me a few times after I went changing some files that I should never have been looking at in the first place...

    thanks for the reply,
    I havent messed with system files since I got it first and removed all the usual mac rubbish that comes with the os.

    and yesterday it went to sleep and didn't wake up. had to power it on eventually!

    gremlins.

    ps; you got it sorted i guess? reinstall?
