Need to create a series of logos, Which is better, photoshop or illustrator? I'm pretty handy with photoshop but illustrator would take some re learning.

I think illustrator would be best but any advice appreciated.

Illustrator. Photoshop is better suited for image manipulation and web graphics etc.

To elaborate, Illustrator's key advantage is that it's vector-based, which means that you can use objects created in it at any size, no matter how big or small. With Photoshop you're working with bitmapped images and data, which is generally okay to make smaller, but not to make bigger.

Also, Illustrator has more controllable options regarding gradients, colour and shape construction.
