Hey guys, in regards to passing by compensation. I know you have to have a GPA of 2.0 or over, but does this mean a GPA of 2.0 before compensation is applied or after it is, as a compensated module carries a GPA of 1.6 so that would drag your GPA down???

An E has a GPA of 1.6. So currently your GPA already considers that, if you compensate it the GPA for it is still 1.6, so your GPA will not change by compensating a module. If you get a GPA of 2.0 or above at the end of the year, you will compensate up to 3 E grades. So your GPA already accounts for that 1.6. Hope that makes sense.

And we drop the resit of the E grade if we intend to compensate right?
