How early is too early to start drinking?

Well today I was in college from 9 'til 2, as it's a Thursday and I only have one lecture tomorrow, I decided to have a lash of cans with the lads. I arrived home (langers) at half 6 and the parents are having a fit saying that I shouldn't be drinking until at least 8 o'clock in the evening.

So I ask you all as I'm cowering away in my bedroom: "How early is too early to start drinking?"

Usually when its bright, I don.t know why but I can never drink when it is bright outside, even at weddings.

Before the age of 12 is usually regarded as too early.

I remember creating a thread on here called "whats the latest you've ever started drinking?" ... only to met with such asshole posts 'what defines late ' .. etc. ... losers! :pac:

But as for whats too early? ... drinking in the morning pretty much. Say you get up at 10am and by 11am you're getting locked? yeah, thats bad.

People have this hangup about drinking during the day in this country. I'll start at anytime I want to, there is no such thing as it being 'Too Early'.

I drink lemonade. I know its weird and I don't understand it myself, but I just don't like the taste of beer when its bright out.

So your still living with your parents !

If you want to feel free to get pissed any time of the day that you like ,then you need your own place , its too early to do that when your still living with your parents.

Their house , their rules , and you will always be a child to them!

I don't have any set time to be honest. If it's a Saturday and I have nothing to do and nowhere I need to be, I'd normally start early afternoon and continue for the day. It's about your own tolerance really and how long it takes you to get smashed.

Does it count if you're still drinking from the night before?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

you wouldn't have survived too long in ITT during the early 00's. last lecture on a firday was done by 1pm, straight to Fables (iirc), it was like a daytime nightclub for bum students, all dark inside, strobe lighting and such. Bamboozled by 6 and blinded by the sun, yet trying to act sober on the bus home whilst masterfully avoiding getting chip grease all over your face - ah, them's were the days :D

As for the OP, it depends on the occasion

Why the hell did you go home OP? If you start drinking stay out for the day/night. Make a proper session out of it!

It was beer so it was fine

If it was Brandy I would say no, that's an evening time drink just for example.

If a match kicks off at 12:00Pm i'll head to pub around 11:30 and start then

If I was in college and heading out that night, maybe start around 5/5:30, hate starting too late and then feeling as if your in a rush.

If I drink before say 3 or 4pm I refer to it as being European. I'm classy and what not.

The first time I was in France I saw all these people having wine and beer in an outside cafe at 11am-ish. European.

Seriously though, drink as much as you can now when you are in college because when you get a real job they don't let you saunter around half cut
