Decent bag for Canon EOS

Hi,
I'm looking for any recommendations on a basic but protective case for a Canon 1100D and lens. Doesn't have to be huge for additional lenses etc, just something snug for the camera to slip in an out of, with the lens still on as need be. Would also be open to a case and SD card (16gb) combo if the price was decent.

Any feedback appreciated

I've one similar to the above, holds the camera tightly with plenty of room for spare lenses and the bits and bobs. And the one above has room for a laptop too also.

Thanks for the suggestion Joe, but that's definitely overkill

Just looking for a shoulder type bag, as light and compact as possible while still providing ample protection while out and about and being able to whip it out and snap with the lens still attached. No need for extra lens compartments etc

I've one of these and find it very capable of holding a DSLR with tele lens fitted, a second lens, flash, and all the other associated bits and pieces without feeling cramped.

Thanks Kenny, this will be for a total beginner so just something simple at the moment to get them using the camera as easily as possible without having to deal with attaching accessories etc. If they advance then I'm sure a better bag would be amongst the cheapest aspect of upgrading

I have one of these fits the eos 550d with either the 18-55 or 55-250 on it plus the other lens fits next to the camera the other side can fit flash filters or another small lens like a 50mm

Got the above delivered yesterday and unfortunately it seems way too big, there's a lot of space for the camera to move inside and it's not the hardest or most padded feeling case either.

I think I missed your post but this appears to be a similar type of case, but probably more snug a fit, do you have an 1100d also?

Just comparing the internal dimensions of this one to the one I got:

Internal size: 250mm Deep x 170mm wide (at the top) x 90mm across.

Yours: 165mm deep x 150mm wide x 100mm across

That's nearly 10cm shorter!

Should have really checked this first

how long did delivery take?

Might order that one if anyone here with a longer lens wants to buy the one I got?

ended up buying the one zero19 linked to just now.

Received some great customer service from Duragadget, they replied really fast to my email and offered me a full refund and said as a gesture of good will, they won't even require the bag back and I can keep it, they issued a full refund immediately
