What happened to the 2 tv shows out of the 3 that where promised weekly?? they show friday night fights every week & its enjoyable nonsense but there was another 2 shows promised "noob tubes" & "cocked hammers" & now theres no sign of them!

Was also promised an animated MW3 wallpaper & this hasnt been redeemable since day 1!

What a total waste of money...never again!!!!!!

Because we pay for a premium online service from Microsoft.

Yeah but its not microsoft that makes COD... xbox & PS3 users both paid the same price for hardened edition.. so we should all get the same product at the same time!

There are two different Subscriptions at talk here.

The Elite Subscription for Call Of Duty that gives use access to DLC before there general bundle release date. This deal is actually cheaper than buying the bundled DLC every couple of months, Not to mention you get it much earlier. The Xbox live subscription is for Xbox live Gold, Which allows use users to play online against other players and other promotions such as discounts and free arcade games. It Has nothing to do with individual games and there servers.

Microsoft made a deal with Activison years ago to obtain DLC for Call of duty games for Xbox live well in advance of PlayStation, Such deal meant more people chose Xbox over PS so they would have early access to the DLC. That deal is on it's last year, And next year, DLC will be released at the same time for both consoles, Unless Microsoft extend it, Which is of course possible.

It really is a mess to think about it, But it's business at the end of the day.

Cod elite app now available on the Android market. Basic enough but seems to do the trick. Now if they could give me and my fellow ps3 users a date for the dlc I would be a happy camper....literally!

Regardless of the delay in receiving maps... I think €50 is pretty good for 9+ maps and 11 other game modes over the next 9 months! I was worried you had to pay €50 for Elite, then more money for each map pack!

All in for €50 is good, its a new game/ half a night out, for countless hours of gaming!

What else can provide you with 2days 14hours and 12 minutes* for €50?

Hopefully not, since they have been doing functionality tests for the last few weeks. Wont get my hopes up though

I have tried linking my elite page to youtube - tells me that I am linked, yet no vids transferring.

I ring support - they tell me the protracted version of "have ya tried turning it off and on again"... i.e. disallow elite access to my youtube account (which I did) and then go back onto the elite page and try and establish the link.

When I do that, it tells me there's already someone linked to that gmail account!?!?

WTF?

Any clues anyone?

i had the same problem as you , i just found that the link between the two breaks down from time to time , mine was down for 2 weeks then just started working again , i just thought this was as im non-elite but some of the lads had the same problem and there fully paid up suckers sorry members :pac:

Had exact same issue there bout 2 weeks ago and I actually did that, broke the link and iniated again, worked fine for me. Weird what your gettimg though, does it give details of this other account?

Also depends what browser you're using, I had the odd problems with chrome (certain things not loading fully etc). Works fine with IE (when it actually works works that is :rolleyes:)

Apparently there was some FFA competition (Most FFA kills in 2 hours) on this a few days ago ! top few players won something (Total of 100k in prizes apparently !).

One of the AK lads (DarC_Knight) came 3rd and won a Scuba adventure holiday in hawaii worth $14,000 ! Pretty damn sweet.
