Jennings looks a little like he knew the ball was out and got away with murder.

Oh come off it with conspiracy theories!

They have had some shocking calls this season.

No conspiracy. I'm not saying it's about GB its incompetent decision making.

wow, I missed that, it's clearly a fumble. The officials have missed so many big calls this post-season. I don't remember it being as bad in previous years.

Mike Peireira trying not to throw the officials under the bus - one persons opinion against another? Nope. The ball was out before his knee was down. That;s a fact not an opinion.

No surprise GB have been getting help all year from the officials.

    Soccer Forum that way -->

    :D

At least soccer referees don't have the luxury of slow mo replays. Really bad call.

How can you not expect conspiracy theories with that type of call?
If anything the league would want NY to win...bigger market team with a higher earning potential!

Mike Periera, Fox "rules expert" also called fumble and Giants recovery earlier in the Pack drive

That Giants O-line is playing serious stuff. Manning doesn't even have to move.

You didn't even need an experts opinion on that call.

Anyone here up on the rules for first touchdown scorer?

I had Jordy Nelson with PP but from what I can gather even tho he never came onto the field untill after the first touchdown was scored its a loser.

First touchdown scorers are all in play or not.
Touchdown scorers are offered with the option of others on request.
Only when a player is listed on NFL.com as 'inactive' for that match are the selections voided.

    From PP rules seems harsh

Don't agree. The league would love to see the storied Packers and the Patriots meet in the Superbowl. It's such a big game anyway, markets don't come into it as much.

Any chance we could draft pass rushers at like half-time? Eli will continue to pick up big yardage if this goes on.

    Nice one, great block.

MP is awful though half the time they contact him he gets it wrong.

McCarthy must be a genius clearly knew we'd block a field goal.

Cause what...a rematch of 2007 and the chance for redemption etc wouldn't appeal to them? If anything that would be a bigger game!

I actually don't think the league cares who gets to the Superbowl, they can market any game they want. NFL is so big it's guaranteed to get ratings as long as the game is competitive. I just think they would prefer to see the two no. 1 seeds meet in the big game.

Giants v Patriots ii would be good too though!

Not the same as soccer unfortunately for you. If he was as sub in soccer you would get a refund but he was a starter here regardless of plays played in.:(

He's a former NFL official and a former NFL Vice President of Officiating. He's not going to hang his colleagues out to dry. He was being nice by saying it was a "matter of opinion". It was clearly a blown call by the ref. Why are ppl trying to defend this kind of crap officiating??
