Ok story first. There was problems with the upc modem. So rang up told to restart it and they changed out wireless name. All the stuff that uses the modem (PS3, Phone and Other laptop etc) all work fine and connected. Ok story first. There was problems with the upc modem. So rang up told to restart it and they changed out wireless name.

All the stuff that uses the modem (PS3, Phone and Other laptop etc) all work fine and connected.
The upc staff member said there is a firewall stopping the laptop to change the wireless network name and connect to the new network.
I uninstalled AVG but still no joy.

When I click connect to network the new name is there but it will not connect.

Any help to connect to the new network?

Any help would be great thank you.
