Why don't you just listen to your own manager or would that be to simple ;)

I rather form my own opinion, not just take someone elses and pass it off as some sort of 'fact'. :P

Watch that then try telling me that his foot doesnt go over the ball.

The difference is I don't believe there was any malice from any of the players involved and I am happy to accept NL view on it but carry on making mountains out of molehills

Its not difficult, the two of the go in hard in the tackle, Kayal's impact makes the ball fly out and McCulloch carries on through. Its the impact on the ball that causes the injury, there is no contact on the follow through.

Maybe it is in your narrow minded little head, but I'm sticking by it, the ball is there to be won, both players impact the ball with straight legs and Kayal gets injured.

Me saying that he went in studs up and foot going over the ball doesnt immediately mean malice, it definitely indicates a fair bit of recklessness.

Can you not debate without resorting to childish insults? Not surprised really

Why are you not surprised then? If a comment like that is insulting you then you've got a problem, cos alot of worse stuff has been said on here since I joined! But I apologise, no real need for it.

We are talking about a tackle and you weight in with an insult almost immediately. I'm not insulted but it usually it takes a lot longer before the knives come out and its usually about politics or religion, you seem to have an awfully short fuse no matter what the subject is. Thats why I'm not surprised

No, but the description of McCulloch as a "Hatchet Man" does. Stop being so twisted.
There is no way McCulloch went into that tackle to hurt Kayal, in fact as you say, the shape of Kayal going into that tackle doesnt help him.
Neither does his teammate coming in behind him.
What do you expect when you hachet men like McCulloch playing in the SPL

You do realise that you aren't quoting me there, i.e. hatchet man remark. If I thought that he wanted to do Kayal, I would have said it straight up.

If Lee McCulloch doesnt meet the requirements for the label hatchet man in your eyes, who does?

Seen on another forum that you've accepted cash plus Jason Puncheon for Gary Hooper. No solid evidence.

So'ton signed Japanese international, Tadanari Lee, after their enquiry for Hooper was rejected. They are finalising paperwork.

Not even the rumour makes much sense tbh

:o You do look so alike though...:D

Honestly, i see McCulloch as slow, both mentally and physically and struggles to keep up with the game - i don't see him anywhere near the "hatchet man" status of the likes of Black or Tokely, basically because he generally doesnt get anywhere near his target!

I have to say as much as it pains me :D that I agree with the Rangers lads here, it was two guys fully committed to a tackle, something imo which is great to see, and it was just unfortunate that Kayal came out the injured party.

This in no way softens my view on McCulloch but in this instance he's not to balme.

Yeah that sums it up for me too

You write a message of support for a player and what follows is three page spread debating on whether the other individual was to blame!! The barmy world of the Old Firm! In no way was McCullough at fault here. Two committed players. End of. Sure in one of the pics I saw here Kayal's boot appears higher FFS!

Did ya try watching the actual tackle or is one or two pictures all you need to make up your mind? Kayal is in the process of planting his heel, he did not do anything that could be considered dangerous to another player. Typical shíte out of you though

Yes I did watch it, committed tackle by two committed players. You don't agree, build a bridge!

£6 million for Hooper, they having a laugh:D He's better than Jelavic who has been honking for a long time for them yet the press don't seem to wanna highlight. He's lucky he takes penalty's.

When Jelavic is on form he's the best striker in Scotland by miles, he's just off form this past while but he looks to be finding a bit of form again.

I agree though with the 6 million, its a joke, if someone in the championship or that scored 21 goals last season they would be getting touted alot higher than 6 million.

Then why say something that didnt actually happen? Kayal's foot wasnt higher, to say that 'appears' to be from a picture suggests that you only looked at the tackle a minute ago!

The heino cup is on this weekend, what are you doing in the soccer forum? :P

I remember thinking at the time there was nothing wrong with tackle when I watched game. The picture appears to show Kayal's boot was higher. I can't remember whether this was the case or not Dempsey. It is not unreasonable to assume this was the case from looking at pic? Surely you can accept this? Fair enough? It really didn't warrant your terse response to be fair.

I can remember whether it was the case or not because I posted up a youtube video whilst we were discussing it because the pictures gave a false impression of several things that actually happened in the tackle. This is not the first time you jumped in with comments that immediately showed that you made a half arsed effort in reading what people were posting.
