Which app is the official Couch to 5k? Is there a link - When I search for it, there's a load of options?

There isn't a single 'official' one there are plenty of alternatives that are all about the same. Have a look in this thread

    Thanks, both of you :)

I was to start it tonight but I don't think I'd need to run with that wind!

Hi all, ex smoker here, just started the C25K last night, nearly killed me but enjoyed it :-)

One thing tho is, I am wearing some heavy bottoms and a tshirt and hoodie, think I over heated a good bit and I think while I am only at the start of this I best invest in some running gear as soon as I can. I had a read through this list here but not sure what things really are or what to get in Dublin shops tbh as this is all new to me.

Could some of you point me in the right direction on running/jogging gear to start me off with? Sales might help a lot too

    Thanks!

I use a very light fleece this time of year with some shorts when its mild, these are the types of fleece i use , cheap and very light and breathable http://www.amazon.co.uk/Regatta-Thompson-Mens-Leisurewear-Fleece/dp/B003AOAEVS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326386606&sr=8-1 .

Generally my legs dont feel the cold much , as its quite mild this year so standard shorts do me.

Thanks Outkast, I could maybe get one of these in lifestyle sport or even Elverys or something. Will have a look.
Yeah I have cold feet (due to smoking i think) but last night in my run my legs got really warm so maybe shorts would help with that as I heated up really fast!

Loads to look into with this, very exciting for me :-)

Have a look but i havent come across them at that price in any sports shop yet, remember you only want light ones, a lot of ones can be very heavy.
