Should do, have been reading up and other people have been able to play but when I go into Viera Cast all I see is blank icons. Tried both Wired and Wireless plus a Factory reset and no joy.
Was wondering if it's a region thing so will be interested to hear how you get on.

They're 5-10 years old, I've probably seen them already, & while they fill the huge catalogue Netflix have, they're a waste of space as I wouldn't want to watch them again, & those I haven't seen likely aren't worth watching (or I'd have seen them in the last 5-10 years).

    Clear ?
Heres a novel idea..... Why dont all the netflix knockers GTFO ?

    Sky, it's a mere €28pm

Not exactly like for like though. I mean a web-based, on-demand stream based provider.

Looks like there is a problem with Panasonic Viera Cast,

A discussion thread, or an alert? We could refer to numerous threads, beers for example, where one would be slated for criticising an alert.

No offence intended banchang, BTW :)

    Apologies for OT

Fair point, I'm new to this forum.

Anyway, if this works when I'm away with work tomorrow, then that might sway me.

PC runnin Firefox 3.6. with all scripts and trackers allowed on the page. Tried your link. still nothing.

Looking more closely, I see I cant even find a link to sign up with Facebook!! Weird. Maybe its because Iam using Linux.I will try on Windows and see if it makes a difference.

Anyone know if I can use Netflix on my Iomega Screenplay Media Player? I have a WiFi Dongle if that makes a difference!

    Cheers

Id love to know this as well. Netflix is a key feature of Iomega multimedia devices, however it makes it clear that it's for the US only. However now that Netflix is available in Ireland and the UK, there must surely be a way of getting the app added on seeing as the device is clearly compatible. I can't see anywhere in the menus on the Iogmega Screenplay DX where it gives you such options though.

Just signed up through face book and with an O2 money card ( with no money on it ). Works fine, streaming is perfect with my piece of **** 3 dongle. so far so good. For 7 yo'yo's its worth just for the kids content alone.

Does anyone know how to add / watch Netflix on the Samsung 40D7000 TV. I have searched for an app but no joy.

Yes the TV is connected to the internet. Have used my friend Google but no joy.

Thumbs up from me so far anyways!

Screenclick... €18 for 2 new movies at a go. If you diligently watch them (or copy them and send them back) it works out to 8 new movies a month (€2.25ea). They are the most like netflix of old, when they actually dealt in dvds.

As far as on-demand streaming goes, this is the only game in town.

    Coincidence....i think not ;)

Read through most of this thread but want some clarification.

The selection on their site does not seem the best. is that just a sample or is that actually what they offer in Ireland at the mo?

Do they offer TV series? The Grail would be if they had tv series so you could watch a bunch of episodes in one go (my preferred way of watching tv series!)

It looks like Three have blocked Netflix on their mobile network.
You get an error (1003) as soon as you try and begin watching, tried it in Bray and Dublin city centre.

I am on a billpay so called £all you can eat data" plan

No problem on a VF phone

Signed up last night and set it up using Apple TV (don't y'all be hatin' now)

Anyway, the selection is reasonable. Plenty I would watch but I could see how others might not be satisfied.

My problem was that every 2-3mins it was pausing and buffering for 10-15secs which is intensely irritating. I have 50Mb UPC internet and regularly stream from itunes in HD so don't think its my internet connection speed? Any ideas?

If it will stream properly I'll keep it, if not I'll ditch it come the end of the free trial.
