hey, not sure if this is appropriate on a public forum, if not, mods, i apologise, feel free to lock.

just wondering if any members have experience with career breaks, particularly in the last 3 or 4 months?
i've heard of a lot more members getting these lately with a LOT less hassle than previous years. basically, applying with feck all details/reasons and they are getting them no problem. unlike years ago, when you had to beg beg beg basically to get one.

i presume this is because of the need to lower the numbers of members etc.

so, do any of ye have personal experience? is it easier now than it used to be?

Dunno a thing about career breaks in AGS but it may be an idea to tread with caution if the experience of career breaks in the HSE are anything to go by - some staff have had to wait up to a year to get their jobs back after their break had ended.

Recently enquired into one - been told tough; not enough boots on the ground to sanction same.
