Sending docs from Ireland to USA-recommendations?

    Hi all,

I need to send confidential documents to the US and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? Perhaps a particular service they used that worked well? I really need to make sure these documents get to the recipient.

I was going to use An Post and send the documents via registered post but I'm not sure I can track the envelop once it leaves Ireland.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

UPS or Fedex document services. Tracks them all the way. Works fine for me.

Does it have to be a physical document?

There are extremely secure digital methods. PGP/GPG key encryption, then just email securely.

Other than that, it depends on how secure you want it.

Most secure : Deliver it yourself
Others : An Post registered mail, DHL, UPS, Fed-Ex. I can't comment on security of interception but all allow for signatory confirmation of delivery.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I have already scanned the documents and sent them via email but the company needs the originals as well. I was hoping to find a secure way that didn't cost an arm and a leg. However, I'm willing to pay a higher price for a little piece of mind so I'll probably check out Fedex or UPS.

    Thanks.

Try Courier post via An Post. Its via DHL. Would be pretty handy. Any major courier should be secure DHL/UPS/Fedex
