It's been a very underwhelming Christmas so far. I don't ever remember having to work until the 22nd before. Proper work with tests and shizz. So, I'm going to blame that for my lack of festive cheer.

I've no Christmas spirit at all. I feel absolutely detached from the entire thing. Would have preferred to have gone pagan this year or something, just to have something interesting to talk about.

On the bright side, I did get to meet up with some old friends tonight.

I don't care if I embarrassed myself trying to play poker, I fecking love catching up with those guys.

Detached, that was the word I was looking for. It's all just going straight over my head tbh. Spent my day Christmas shopping out of necessity rather enjoyment and just generally blundering around town with a friend.
