There's a strong chance I'll be asked to go to mass in the morning. I'll be sure to deploy operation "refuse to get out of bed" (last used in secondary school when I just wasn't bothered going in) and continue my glorious habit of sleeping in til after two. Having a grown up conversation with my mother about my complete lack of interest in religion and mass? Nah, prolonged lie-in ftw.

I was at my once yearly mass earlier on. Luckily enough there was a handy little newspaper on the way in so that kept me entertained, along with a sneaky nap at some stage.

I think my parents have realised I'm not bothered with religion but they're happy if we go at Christmas. Although after I embarrassed them this year by accidentally skipping the queue for communion (the system was flawed tbh) they might not want me to go again...:pac:

Blackmail is such an ugly word.

Was the paper called 'Alive' by any chance?

No, I think it was Vineyard. It was religiously based but after skipping the god related stuff there was a fair bit of local news and random gossip besides. Beggars can't be choosers! :P

No, I'm not up at 6 because I'm excited for Christmas, I'm going to go to sleep at 6 because I'm and increasingly bad insomniac.

2011 won't be a year I'll forget too quickly anyway... Also, I can no longer sleep for periods longer than 5 hours...

I had to go for a post dinner nap. I never give in to Christmas day tiredness, there's too much fun to be had! Must be because of the antibiotics, grrr :(

My brother's gone already, he didn't even get to stay 24 hours. Probably won't see him for another few months. Stupid work.

I tried to not drink tonight.
"You're not having anything to drink?!"
"Go on, just a little sup"
"Are you sure you won't have a little one on the sly?"
    "YOU aren't having any drinks?"

    What am I, an alco?

In the process of removing my memory stick from my PC, I ended up separating it from the outer casing... oops :o

Then, my brother thought it'd be an absolutely ingenious idea to try and remove the thing with a pair of pliers... fortunately for me, nothing was damaged (well, I'm not sure about the memory stick, but it's not much use to me anymore :( )

It appears that the copious amount of alcohol I drank was cancelled out by the ton of turkey I ate. I wanna be drunk :(

I was going to start reading The Book Thief, then I opened the book, and the first words were like "We are going to die.".

It freaked me out and now I can no longer read it.. :(

I never understood why anyone would want to be drunk. A bit tipsy, perhaps, but not drunk.

Kill me. Kill me. Kill me. Someone. Please kill me now. Kill me. Kill me. Kill me. For the love of St. Bernadette in a bucket, kill me! :(:(

Turns out, in the past year, I've gone from disliking Christmas, to absolutely hating the thing....

I'm currently being subjected to Jeff Dunham... :(

And I left my reading glasses in Limerick, so I can't read the books I got for Christmas until January. :(

Yeah poor you having 500 euro to spend on a phone, god why can't everyone be so privileged.

Haha I'm clearly joking? And I'm far from being "so privileged", my father got it as an upgrade and he didn't have a clue how to work it.

EDIT: Actually, I'm gonna delete that previous post, just re-read it and I came off as such a pretentious cuunt, I can see why you replied like that :pac:

Seemed like you were gloating rather than joking, tbh. A blackberry only costs €100, a S2 costs €500 upwards, big difference..

I know I did actually, I seemed like a posh prick in that post (notice the beautiful usage of alliteration in that last sentence), which is as far away from the truth as you can get. Didn't mean for it to come out like that.
