45 million euro right? which is about what??? 33 million, which is a good deal for Liverpool i think, ajax will probably try to push that up a bit

eriksen would be a great signing, we need more creativity in the side and I think vertonghen can play as a defensive midfielder, don't need him at centre-back right now......a striker on top of those two and i'd be happy, names being linked are luuk de jong and soldado

Pretty sure he has ten this season which isnt bad. Watched him play once or twice and his movement is great. He doesnt exactly have great players feeding him so id like to hope he would do well with us. Plays alot like RVN but obv doesnt have anywhere near the same stats.

Just can't see us spending on a striker while Andy Carroll is still here. If he cant get a game above Kuyt and Bellamy, how is he gonna get a game above a new signing as well? It would signal the end of him, which I dont think the club would be willing to do unless they sold him in January first. And he would be near impossible to sell for more than about £10-12m at this point.

He hasn't been given a decent run which leads me to suspect that he is sh1te in training too which doesn't bode well, which leads me to wonder why the **** they bought him in the first place which leads me to suspect they didn't do their homework.

But sure he was good for Newcastle last season, so give him a run. And tell Downing to stop being sh1te too.

Between 18th September - 5th November he started 6 of 9 games, lasting the full 90 in 5 of them. He also had a run of 5 starts on the trot last season. Getting 4th is too important to give him more than that. He needs to earn his place.

I still think he is a very average player who was going through a very good run of form before we bought him.
