The radio in my 01 Ford Focus seems to not be receiving a signal from the aerial in that absolutely nothing is picked up.

Also bluetooth for phone keeps turning on and off.
Would both be related due to loose wiring?

Is it just a case of trying to take the radio out and have a look behind for loose wiring or any recommendations on where to have it looked at in south dublin area?

I would start with checking the connections to the radio alright. Then see if the aerial is ok.

There is an update for some of them radios. Ring your local dealer and see if there is a recall or something. I replaced one recently enough for that problem.

There is a fault in the Telephone mute circuit . This is a very common complaint with the 6000 model. I can repair this for a fraction of price you have been quoted. PM me if you wish---

The phone mode issue decided to start this morning on my 08 Focus - did anyone get a resolution to this problem?

Only have the car about a month

Based in Limerick so any local recommendations for someone who won't rip me off would be greatly appreciated
