edit: Also, someone fill me in on Steam please? Like is that the PS3 store thing? And if you buy stuff there do you just download it to the PS3 or..?
Steam is not a store on PS3 to my knowledge.

Steam is software on the PC that lets you buy and download games to your PC/Mac, tying them to an account. There is some PS3 integration with friends being shared across PS3 and PC, as well as cross-platform multiplayer in Portal 2. It might also upload and synch game saves but that's probably just Portal 2.

As an aside buying Portal 2 on PS3 grants you a copy on the PC too. Pretty sure the opposite isn't true.

Portal 2 isn't synched: you can play online with friends but save files don't carry over

A dragon came and killed nearly all of the NPCs in Morthal. I fast travelled there, a dragon landed, and I assumed I would be far enough away on my quest that it would despawn. I wasn't.

I feel really bad about that. The town is pretty much empty now, other than a guard who keeps saying "Damn shame" and some kids that see a corpse and say "Aah! Dead body!".

I'm debating using the console to spawn them back in, I actually feel bad about letting a bunch of innocent NPCs die. I'm sorry, Jorgen and Lami, sorry you died on your front porch, but at least you died together.

I started playing Skyward Sword for the second time today, in which I'm hoping to do a run without collecting any Heart Containers! Well, maybe... you take double damage from enemies on your second time through, and hearts are more scarce, so it might be a bit too difficult for now. I really like the opening section of the game, it's probably my favourite beginning to any Zelda game. I just love the playful, light-hearted relationship that Link and Zelda share before things take a turn for the worse, particularly during moments like this one. She does spend an awful lot of her time pushing Link off of fatally precipitous platforms, though.

Music's frickin' fantastic, too, particularly Fi's theme which is all kinds of haunting and beautiful.

I love these Humble bundles. They're so fantastic. New found love for indie games.

Have made time to play Fifa 12 over the past two weeks, (not much, but enough to get a pretty good idea of the game). Have to say I'm disappointed. Yeah, there's better graphics, collisions are better, but they still haven't fixed the Be-A-Pro. I was a reserve player for Man Utd, and yet I was still being picked for every game that my player was physically fit for! And they still haven't made it so that if you're having a terrible game the manager would sub you for a better player. :\

I started off with Oxford United and buy the time I got offered the move to Chelsea, my manager was taking me off around 60 minutes into every game. I guess it depends on how you progress through career mode.

    WTF?!

Playing Fifa 12, and I simmed a match, in which David De Gea (United goalkeeper for those that don't know) got injured. So then, I went to play the next match, and the manager had chose Ashley Young (as in the midfielder) as the keeper? What the hell? :\

(It's a Be-A-Pro season so I have no input into team selections)

Oh Valve, why do you troll me so much? you give me a 50% off any Valve title after the sale, yet i can get most all of them cheaper in the sale >_<

I got the same thing, and I own all of them with the exception of 2 or 3 I don't want anyway. It's probably going to be hard enough to find anybody that actually wants to trade for it too.

If only it was valid for games released after January then it'd be worth something

Hoping for anything to appear on sale?

Hoping to see Arkham City or Skyrim get a decent price cut at some point but I'd say it's more likely that it'll be 15% or less, which I don't think is really worth it. Otherwise Assassins Creed 2 is something I'll be looking out for.

Assuming there's a free objective later today I'm looking forward to getting another Valve coupon.

I doubt Arkham or Skyrim will get reduced any, given they've just been released but who knows, maybe Steam will be nice.

Got the EDGE achievement yesterday and now i have coal...hurray!
