fault code help

could anybody tell me what the code P1227 in a toyota corolla 2005 means...any info would be great thanks

Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit short to ground.

My injector had gone, I needed a new one, that solved it in my car

how did you get this code and what did you do then did you take out all 4 injectors and get them tested or did you get a mechanic to test them

Got the code from a diagnostic machine, I took all injectors out and got them tested by a specialist company who tests injectors

ok thanks and was it number 3 injector was faulty wat was the car doing
ur car is 2005 1.4 diesel

Car wasn't going right & hard to start, the new injector solved my problem car going perfect now, get it checked out by a Mechanic and get injectors tested make sure that this is your problem because injectors are expensive, what is your car doing??

i am a mechanic i took off egr valve and cleaned removed throttle body cleaned and refitted took car for test drive last nite when rebuild. car was smokey at first but after a good hard drive car cleared its self and driving perfect again and idle ok as well try this see how it goes thanks again for ur help
