Briggs and Stratton Engine in Solidworks :)

    Hear is a video of a briggs and stratton engine modeled in solidworks, it was done as a group project for a mechanical engineering degree. We were giving the engine and had to strip and measure every component and reproduce a working model in solidworks.

    Iam pretty happy with how it came out.

    Looks good.

    I'd keep that on file somewhere so when you graduate you can show it in job interviews.

    It might be a good idea to take a few parts and create manufacturing drawings of them. Just do say 2 or 3 parts. Also for one of the smaller sub assembly's you could create an assembly drawing of it. This way in a job interview you can show that you can measure parts, model them up, create assemblies, create assembly explosions and views, and create drawings. That's pretty much everything you'll need.
