That exact video came to mind mind straight away. I've just finished watching the 50 years of RTÉ thing (I think from last night) on Sky Plus and a bit of that clip was in it. It took everything I have to hold back the tears. Unbelieveably powerful what that man said. :mad:

I saw it yesterday but i saw it before aswell. I definitely did cry and i dont usually cry easily, brave brave man.

This is a scene from the film 'Life is Beautiful'.

I'm not going to really do justice to the film or the scene by trying to explain it, but here goes. For anyone who hasn't seen it, a Jewish family are interned in a concentration camp. The main character, having been a waiter in a hotel before the war, is working at a party in the camp residence. While there he breaks away from the party and plays a record over the speaker that has special significance for him and his wife (who he has been separated from when they entered the concentration camp).

This makes me well up every time I see it.
