Not sure if it would be worth the trek to Dublin to pick it up. :P

But they're that cheap? Might get one tomorrow so. \o/

Yep I got it last year but saw them again recently. They're the most wonderful inventions.

Oh I know that feeling. Being useless at pretty much everything really sucks. :(

I've been told I'm a good writer but there's no way I'd have the patience to sit down and write a novel or anything. And even if I did it'd probably suck.

Oddly enough, I've been told I'm a good writer too, but personally I think I don't have the imagination any more to write anything decent (used to be creative in the past.... )

I'd give anything to be moderately competent at a musical instrument though..... But these hands... they just no good son, they just no good.

Fup it.... back to playing air guitar and lip-synching to itunes and feeling like a GOD! :pac: :pac:

Should really stop watching videos of people playing guitar on Youtube. :(
Talent's overrated. Being reasonably competent in a number of areas ftw

Same, I was talking to someone during the week and they were telling me about the instruments they played as a child and how they love dancing, I'm just there like 'yeah I can't do anything'

You all exist. Deal with your day to day problems. You come out at the end of every day.

That in my opinion is talent enough.

Yeah..... things I'm reasonably competent in......
    • Procrastination
    • Sleeping till noon
    • Not attending lectures
    • Bitching and moaning

EDIT: I'm actually at ninja-master level in all the above, not just reasonably competent. :pac:

I'd have been like "Yeah....um.... I can..... um..... tune a TV."
And they'd have been like "Tune a TV? Excuse me while I take my clothes off." :pac: :pac:

I used to play the tin whistle and accordion when I was a wee nipper and could avail of primary school instruments for free. Now I just clap my fingers against my knuckles to produce a pleasant tapping sound. In another universe I'd be some DIY icon.

I played accordion too! :D I was 'good', but that's just, *ahem*, accordion to my mum... :P

Now I can half play drums (wouldn't call myself gifted..), and I can juggle three balls, and that is my entire set of talents... :)

    :(

The first one, I have just figured out, has no less than 900 slides for me to attempt to get through. Of this I have gone through about 100, and understand, er, about 7. /o\

    400 down. Blah :(

I don't understand how I can get these constant headaches. Feel like I should get it checked out but its become a regular occurrence that I brush it to the side as one of these things :(

I have got absolutely no focus this morning for any subject. But the Christmas tests are starting Friday and, because my school is crazy, next week is full of extra curriculars that means I really need to get lots done today. But I just don't have any energy or attention span whatsoever. :(

Haven't seen the bf since last Sunday. Dunno when I'm gonna get a chance to see him. Stupid college work/work/pubs being busy coming up to Christmas time.

Guys seriously, having a talent sucks balls! Coz you show someone i.e. a parent, and once that's discovered then they'll never let you stop practicing! Then once you go looking for work, of course you end up as a hotel pianist playing for peanuts (literally, the place I frequent right now pays me in free food during my break) with the hotel clients giving you abuse. :(
