Fucking hate lee mason. Suarez is going to have to get shot to get anything tomorrow.

He has been found out as a diver and is known for simulation and feigning injury...of course refs are going to have a hard time giving him anything because they never no if he's genuine or just play acting.

    :p

That's a shocking statistic and sums up perfectly well the difference between 7th and top 4

I hate when we start coming out with these referee stats, that try indicate we are been unfairly treated.

And also those stats like 'if our shots that hit the woodwork had gone in, we would be second in the table'. They make us look silly.

An hour or two ago you were saying Suarez should be dropped from the team for sticking up his finger, now you are saying that taking a hardline with him would be a risk.:)

So are you for or against Suarez being dropped and out of the team for the next game?
It's a tough call Kestrel. I was probably a bit too emotional with that one but I think Kenny needs to at least take him aside and somehow nip this in the bud. No more of this messing.

Yeah maybe "rest" him this weekend. A Carroll hat-trick with assists from Henderson and Downing and we are back on track.

    Dropping Suarez would be retarded.

Hehe second person in 24 hours or so to call me Kestrel :)

Stop with the predictions or at least predict a win for QPR. You spoke of a 3 nil against Fulham with Suarez, Carroll, and Downing scoring, so this week go for a 5-0 to QPR and we might get something.:D

Any particular reason why all the games are 3pm kick off tomorrow, with no early or late televised kick offs at all?

    Conor Coady on the right?

I thought frees were given for fouls, not for player's reactions??

Yeah was thinking that when I saw it - he's not down as number 12 in the squad but fairly certain it's him.

Would like to see him given a run

Id like to see him given a run ahead of Shelvey in place of Lucas, mainly because he looks to be much better defensively.

He goes down so easy all the time its hard for a referee to know if its a foul or just Suarez being Suarez.

That's because he is much better defensively! :pac:

Coady's position is a DM and he's played as a CB for the reserves before if I'm not mistaken.

Shelvey has great promise but he's an offensive player and his defence isn't up to scratch atm imo

It wouldnt surprise me to see him on the bench at least tomorrow if he is training with the first team.

I see ITV football have apologised for the "factual error" in Jim Beglin's Joe Cole / Rafa write up. "The mistake was made by a staff writer who sub-edited the column"....... my arse! :D

Oh right. And there is no other way of knowing if he was fouled, no?

With Meireles and Aqua gone, Lucas and Gerrard out, and Andy Carroll struggling, an offer really should have been made for Joey Barton during the summer

Gerrard is back in training from the pictures taken today.

I would go a step further and say IF they steer clear of injuries etc I think Spurs will take second place .

I just can't see any chink in their armor .
They look solid enough at the back and are a real threat going forward .

Bale is the key man that needs to stay fit , but also Parker looks a cracking buy and Adebayor does everything I wish Carroll would .

Now there I said it :pac:

What i'm really hoping for is Redknapp getting the England job after Capello (and thus Spurs hopefully hitting a wall over the next couple of seasons freeing up a Champions League spot). Remember where Spurs were when he took over. The guy has shown that give him proper money at a big club he will deliver, Spurs are one of the top 3 sides to watch, and may well finish 2nd this season. Hopefully when he leaves a couple of big names will leave too and they will weaken a bit. He'll do well with England, or as well as any manager could do with England, but you have to think about number one these days! (ourselves)

What's the story with these pictures ? Are they just told look as happy as humanly possible before they take them. I mean look at Reina in the background with the huge maniacal looking laugh!

It is Coady he has been training with the first team ever since Lucas got injured. He was in the training pictures for the first team before the Fulham game last week.

Parker will get injured. The thing is they have Modric, Sandro and Huddlestone at the club as well. Same with Bale - they have cover out the wazoo for most positions. It won't stop Harry using the phrase 'bare bones' when it suits him, mind.

Adebayor is there 4 months and is already moaning about money - he'll leave if he doesn't get his full wages, and will strop, sulk and underperform for the rest of the season if he does.

..or, you know, keep Aqua and Raul. If there's a dearth of attack coming from midfield it's the club's own fault for selling/loaning, rather than for not buying.

The chairman is the hero there IMO. Harry has as much as admitted he's made all of the good signings since Comolli left. Redknapp took over a year to realise Gareth Bale was any good FFS.
