    One of the weekly challenges last week was get 25 kills with the riot shield. Went for it Saturday. Don't think I've ever swore as much at a tv. Seriously, you get stabbed through it, shot through it, blown up and generally fkn killed by anything.

    That said it's pretty good fun. When I finish prestiging I'm definately going to rank it up. Have the quick melee feature now, which made it a lot easier. Wonder can you get a gold shield.:confused:

    Yep the run by and side stab brings back the same "I'm going to snap this motherfúcking joypad in two" joy that run around commondo pro knife attachment MW2 play gave us.

    Yeah, I still havn't found the "Teleport through Riot Shield" Perk. Seems everyone on the other team has it when I run around with it. :P

    All right at end of prestige 4 and have 10 custom classes so there's no point in prestiging anymore. I spent last night trying to level up the KSG 12 ,ive never got more mad at a video game in my life lol.I think my best game was on dome 9-13 any of you guys have done the impossible and get this gun maxed out?

    just some info on the upcoming patch for mw3 1.06, they are nerfing the FMG9s, Type 95 and the cm901 attachment glitch

    Saw this recently. Still think the Type 95 doesn't need a nerf. It's not like I notice getting killed by it a lot or absurdly. FMs for sure and happily don't know what the attachment glitch is.

    They are also seeking to improve lag.

    Worryingly they are allegedly seeking to address lag in the next two patched also.

    Got it up to level 30 I think on my first prestige. Take a total different way of playing to be effective with a shotty. Its really suited to a support class I find. Things to help will be the damage / range prof. Grip to further increase accuracy and steady aim also.

    The most important thing I found was simply to notexpect the same kind of KD you would usually get with an AR or SMG. Its simply too underpowered for that. Oh.... and get ready for hit markers galore at point blank range!!!!

    type 95 doesnt need a nerf???, its the best assault rifle, sub machine gun, shotgun and sniper rifle in the game, it is way overpowered compared to every gun in the game, its a 2 shot kill and has rapid fire, what isnt overpowered about it?

    The 901 glitch is it fires faster for some reason when you have the shotgun attachment on.

    I'm not saying the type 95 is no good & I do see people posting all the time it's OP but my point is if it's so overpowered why isn't everyone using it? I genuinely don't think there's a big problem in the gun balancing in the game.
    Think MW2 - UMP silenced & Blops - Famas and although I didn't play them I understand the M16 was OP in COD4 and the MP40 in WAW.

    I've only tried it a little and didn't do that well with it anyway.

    The type 95 is deffo more overpowered than the famas in blops was tbh, donno why there isn't as much whinging about it. I guess its because its burst fire and not not everyone is into their burst fire weapons. Don't really mind it but the nerf is warranted. Those machine pistols are ridiculously good aswel ! Owning people for days with dem bad boys.

    The most over-powered gun in the game is the striker with range , considering most of the maps are smallish it suits this gun .

    Good fun too :D

    Don't see the type 95 as being OPd myself. SMGs beat it hands down in CQ, prefiring etc etc. I don't come across the gun that often myself either.
    True that some people like a challenge but the majority don't.
    I don't see a problem with it. Maybe it's just bad on xbox?

    Thanks for advice man im having great fun with this setup .Playing barebones first of all ,Sleight of hand pro overkill steady aim.Using mp7,pp90,p90.I only use the shotty when im behind them cause if they get first shot YOUR DONE:D
    I dont really care about my KD but i always try to win the game mode.

    went 44 - 8 positve in a game last night using the type 95 i love it . guess in a noob whatever that is supposed to be . it in the game use it . I hate all sniper rifles and sniping they are they for noobs?

    all i will say is it takes more skill to use a sniper than a type 95

    Does anyone know what it is during a game of Team Defender that affects the bonus score at the end of the game? Is it the number of flags captured, flag carriers killed etc...?

    Hi

    Was playing capture the flag game last night for the 1st time, were u have to defend your flag on one side of the map and try and get the other teams flag and bring it back to your team flag.

    So it is split in two half, were at half time u switch sides. My question is there a good strategy(way to play I can not spell) on how to play this game, like do people play it that at the 1st half they defend there flag to make sure there other team does not scores and then in the 2nd half try and get the other teams flag. I was just playing it were I was trying to get the other teams flag all the time and bring it back.

    As in some games it was good close and all (were both teams were trying to each other flag) and then in other games people were just camped at there flag the hole game and did not move (this happened in the team I was in were I was the only person on my team trying to get the other teams flag), like is the point of the game to get the other teams flag.

    How does the team scoring work, is it the team scores when u get the other teams flag and bring it back to your flag? Also does your team score if the other team gets your flag and u kill the person carrying your flag and return the flag to your base?

    I was playing with just random people is this better when u are in a team that talks and all.

    Blops made you play capture the flag to unlock marathon pro and I came to loathe the game type. Only tip I'd have is to use extreme conditioning and an smg for mobility. Chances are someone on the other team will be aiming a bazooka at their flag waiting for you to cross their line of sight.

    As far as I remember the game is made up of rounds. Whichever team succesfully captures the other team's flags most in a round wins the round & it's best out of three. Took me ages to realise you couldn't capture an enemy flag if your own flag had been nicked. Numeroous deaths ensued.

    Definately better to play it in a group but that's true of any game type, even free for all.

    Yea that took me a while too, was at our flag with the other team flag and was were is my point for taking the other teams flag, i had my mike on and for the 1st time over the hole night(about 4hrs) one person spoke and said we have to get our flag back 1st, i was in shock that another person spoke.

    Its basically 2 rounds, switching sides for the 2nd round to balance the map out.

    in each individual round you must:
    • capture the enemy flag 3 times to win that round..
      • Once you or the enemy captures the flag 3 times the round is over and you win/lose that round..
    • Alternatively, if 3 flags have not been captured by either side, and the time runs out (5mins I think), the team with the most flag captures wins the round
      • (e.g if during the round its 1-0 or 2-1 flags captured then you win the round)
    • If a draw is the result (time runs out and its 0-0, 1-1 or 2-2) then the round is tied.
      • Thus, whoever wins the remaining round wins the game as a whole coz its only 2 rounds ..
    Now if it comes to pass that both teams win a round each, so you win the 1st round (3-1), then the teams switch sides and the enemy wins the next round (0-3) then the game is tied at 1 round each..

    In this case an additional round of sudden death is played (is not a full round like the previous 2).. In this round, the 1st flag to be captured wins the game as a whole..
