How to build a decent PC for just £150 (approx €171)

Came across this in a pc mag... might be of use to someone looking to build for the first time...

Its only a basic decent run of the mill build - for normal home use

I haven't tried it yet myself... (but its on my to do list).

I wondering though if it would be possible to build a cheaper one though... with roughly the same spec (or better)?

Refurbished on ebay will be better spec

Only go for core2duo's or faster

Well this is 210eur with shipping from there but at least you get decent PSU. Could go for smthg like this and get 15eur down on total price but I wouldn't trust those power supplies

Ubuntu and OpenOffice on top of that and there you sweet lil machine under 200eur

Cheaper than an Atom build if one were looking for a DIY NAS / media streaming server.
