    Truly beautiful:

When I listen to this nothing else matters, the world disappears. In fact all of Ludovico Einaudi's music has that affect on me.

(Oh and anyone that knows me [I know you lurk] will be thinking WTF? right about now)

    I just shed man tears.

I felt like, it was just saying. Yo! Everythings gonna be alright bro.

Now my friends will be thinking WTF also.

that piece is playing, the fire is lighting, I'm here with my family, there is a cup of tea in my right hand, all is well.
that music is almost dangerously powerful.

I love Bring Me The Horizon. This proves there is more to them than it appears. This is a really beautiful instrumental.

On a bit of a Robert Frost binge. It's the little things that count in life.
    Dust of Snow
    by Robert Frost

    The way a crow
    Shook down on me
    The dust of snow
    From a hemlock tree

    Has given my heart
    A change of mood
    And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

I might be a few centuries late to the party, but the night sky is so damn beautiful.

See, we've been having some really clear, dark nights these last few nights and I also have started wearing my glasses at night, something I haven't done in the few weeks I've had them, and I'm seeing it so clearly for the first time. It's absolutely amazing.

Ever since I started wearing glasses a few weeks ago I've been noticing little details that I was blind to. Those little details, those things that I've been overlooking all this time, have kind of enriched my life. But last night has definitely been the most notable one so far, a strong reminder of pretty much all we are, just one small mote of dust among the stars.
I probably sound a bit mad, but I'm seriously amazed by this. It's also a testament to how absolutely brilliant medical science is and how I'm seeing the world in different ways as a result, quite literally.

I stumbled across this really amazing article earlier, which had me in a fairly profound state of near-weepiness by the end of it. It's really beautiful when people love and trust someone enough to embrace who they are, especially if that person's identity challenges them in ways they hadn't considered. Always great to see empathy and compassion win out over intolerance and xenophobia. This family deserve all the high-fives!
