The main fox soccer channel in the US is showing a game from Italy, fox soccer plus is showing the Arsenal game, and there online service is showing our game.

Just have to keep a lookout later for one, as i will miss the 1st 30 mins

Notice the media reaction to that handball and Suarez in world cup ;)

Ah here, you're comparing a league game with a world cup quarter final.

Downing looked far more threatening as well.

Really? I thought he looked anything but dangerous. Really poor performance again.

He had three clear goal scoring opportunities .

One was saved (after a miss hit ) and the other two ballooned at least 3 foot over the bar .

Exactly. Anything but dangerous. He fluffed the chances he had and if I recall, he didnt create many chances. He had one good cross early on if my memory serves.

Anyone else think Enrique might be hampering Downing a bit?

Enrique is so enthusiastic at going forward and overlapping Downing that he takes up the space Downing would naturally move into as he takes on a defender, thus forcing Downing inside where he seems less effective.

I think its the opposite. Enrique has done almost everything right in regards getting forward and has actually looked more dangerous than Downing. Enrique also appeared to link up fine with Maxi and Bellamy when they played, so I think the problem is Downing rather than Enrique. Hes just really short on confidence and doesnt seem to be on the right wave length.

He rarely takes on a defender regardless of an overlap anyway.

Does anyone else think that someone is gonna get a fierce hiding off us.

We have been very dangerous in attack (oh it feels good to say that) so i am predicting a game that we take all those missed chances , hit no bars , and scuff no shots , so some team is going to be on the receiving end .

Who is the best journalist to follow to get the team news for tonight as soon as it becomes available?

Just go on Liverpoolfc.tv exactly an hour before kickoff. Its the only 100% reliable source.

That's not a bad point actually. Downing seems to be constantly playing the ball to Enrique on the overlap rather than whipping in crosses. Might be better off starting him on the right, where he himself can cut inside while Johnson overlaps.

I'd give this a shot for a game or two:

    Carroll

    Bellamy
    Suarez
    Downing

    Adam----Lucas

    Enrique
    Agger---Skrtel
    Johnson

Would like to see that myself, but I know it would annoy the hell out of me with Suarez being so sharp and just on a different level to Carroll. Then we end up with all the Carroll criticisms again.;)

Yeah, I'd like to see that line-up. Perhaps with Suarez up top and Gerrard in the hole, either.

Think he must work for some Internet security firm that snoops for specific words when typed .

Except oul Berbs has it sniffing out words like:

    "Spurs"
    "top top player"
    "Arrys lovely cock"
    "hiding"
    "tax evasion"
    "Arrys found innocent"

    :pac:

Yeah I agree, I was saying this to a friend of mine (Villa supporter) when I asked him to take Downing back the other day..... Downing seems to stutter a bit when Enrique comes steaming up the flank and doesnt click with him at all, could be confidence and may take time to form a partnership etc etc. Hard to explain but when I see the two of them trying to do more or less the same thing in an attacking position I think wouldnt it be better to have Bellamy there to cut inside and have Downing on the right.
