Its a disgrace joe, i caught my father ringing in to a 3e show at 3am in the morning, tits and everything joe, its a disgrace joe, there he was, pulling his lad at €2 a minute

He seemed to indicate 91c in the Euro which is very high for a charity, 9% going on admin and advertising is very low.

Some Charities claim to spend less than 5% of income on administration fees.

I think this is too low. If you are handling cash donations you need proper administration procedures.

I know they get some services for free or very cheap, but the harsh truth is that fraud tends to occur when an organisation relies on the Goodwill of people involved, rather than on rigorous controls.

Who are 'the most vulnerable in society'? I hear this catch-all phrase being trotted out all the time and how they must be protected at all costs.

Agreed. The main cost for a lot of charities is actually advertising believe it or not. I've seen the Focus ads on buses, they don't come cheap.

I thought I was listening fairly closely and I didn't pick that up from her...perhaps you're right...if that's the case then simply bin the phone and buy her a PAYG mobile.

Oh another bust company... chargeback time...
[edit] Ah Laser...why do people use debit cards online? FFS.
