So because he stayed on his feet once means he has never over-played an injury or gone down easily on other occasions? Interesting logic there.

Where did I say he never over played or dived, I said if he is a big a cheat like everyone is saying then that would have been the perfect time to do it.

    A sad indictment.

So if we miss out on a peno in a pivotal game in the future because Suarez got a slight trip but enough for him to lose control of the ball you will be happy sitting on your high horse because we only draw. Id rather see him go down and get the peno and win the game every single time.

I hope those calling Luis a cheat and a diver remember the league cup game where he went between two players was trip in the area yet still stayed on his feet.

I mean if the man is a big cheat and diver that would have been the perfect time to go down with a pen and get a player sent off.

So because he stayed on his feet once means he has never over-played an injury or gone down easily on other occasions? Interesting logic there.

Precisely as Chuck says, how does one moment of integrity (right I am sure there are more of course) explain the incidents we see evry game?

No, pointing out when he didn't dive is not going to explain away the moments when he does - nor should it.

Lets lay off the labels of "diver" and "cheat" as it serves to pour ambiguity on the very specific incidents people are referring to.

You don't have to cheat every single time to be a cheater.

If you are saying he can cheat as long as it gets us points then fine - just don't tell me it isn't cheating.

Jesus Christ, "High Horse"? - is this what the thread has been reduced to when you fail to hold ranks on a player's actions?

If your tripped and go down its not cheating, you are just making sure that the ref makes the correct decision.

I question whether those getting on their high horses over challenges that happen in an extremely high paced and high intensity match have ever played a game of football. The game isn't played at the slow motion we see replays and some people dont seem to grasp this.

Take the suarez incedent with kompany there is no doubt that it was actually suarez that fouled kompany here but there is also not a hope it was a dive it would be impossible to keep your balance in that situation and there is not a player that doesnt let out a roar as they are hitting the deck whether that is premiership or 5 a side astro turf.

On the skrtel incedent i think people are reading too much into the fact he is holding his face. I know from getting plenty of knocks in both GAA and soccer that when i get layed out my natural reaction is to hold my face not sure if it is just a natural reaction to hide pain or embarrassment but the hands always go to the face and I have seen this many times in many sports.

He gave a pretty much flawless performance alright - I tend to look at Agger with rose tinted glasses as he's one of my favorite players but he showed great composure and leadership yesterday - Lucas was having a great game and Agger still was on his back instructing him and driving the rest of the team forwards

I hope we can get him injury free for an extended period because he's a huge loss when out

I wouldnt call him my 'favourite' player but i like the cut of his cloth. He is a bit like Bellamy, a bit fiery, wont take any bollox and stands up for himself and others around him. He also expects you to do your best and tells you straight up if you fk up, even if you are playing well like he did with Lucas yesterday.

There's nothing wrong with losing your balance in a tackle and going down, but when you clutch your leg and scream in agony and roll around a few times then there is a problem and it shouldn't be swept under the carpet and ignored just because he plays for Liverpool.

    Just to say:

    Loving yesterday's performance.

    Loving Lucas.

    Loving the Suarez bashing.

Loving not hearing a word from our boardroom in god knows how long.

Loving not relying on Stevie or Carra.

    Loving the hatred.

Agreed. Although I kind of wish John Henry would start tweeting again. Enjoyed hearing his opinions.

 why wouldn't you mind your team being behind spurs? , you'd be on your own there i'd say niallo

i wouldn't want my team to be behind Liverpool.

I thought Carroll's header at the end was great, Hart made a great save.
Had it gone in leading to us beating City, I think some here would be feeling more optimist about him today.

I'm happy enough where we are. Obviously should be a minimum of 4 points better of but considering its a very new squad things are starting to look good. Unbeaten in 10 is the best run in 3 years with the obvious drawback of home draws. There's 5 league games coming up that are very winnable. A repeat of the Fulham performance would come in very, very handy.

Adam goes down to win a free kick despite no contact, cedes possession, almost a goal : hardly anything said.

Suarez overreacts to a foul: page after page of the same shíte about Suarez.

Adam has been far guiltier of simulation since he arrived, and yet all we get is ' Suarez has this side to him' etc.

For £35m you want more then 10 minute sub appearances though. More a case of pappering over the cracks.

Just feel if we had Stevie for Henderson yesterday we might have taken all 3 points.

I assume Spearing and Coates will definitely get a game tomorrow after playing for the reserves last week. There really isn't much reason not to put out a decent team as Kelly, Flanagan, Robinson, Carra, Wilson, Maxi and Carroll haven't played much lately. Bellamy might be available again.

I don't think Kenny will put a purposefully weak team.
    Doni
    Kelly -- Carra -- Coates -- Aurelio
    Spearing -- Adam
    Maxi -- Henderson -- Bellamy
    Carroll
Flanagan, Wilson, Downing, Lucas, Suarez on the bench.

We really miss Gerrard and Shelvey to give us options in the CM.

Compare that to the dogshiit we had a couple of years ago as a back up side. As Fianna Fail said in their election campaign a few years ago, A lot done..more to do. ;)
Still think we need 2 top players in January (i'd be glad to get just one to be honest) but we're getting there..

Seeing a few tweets now saying Ryad Boudabouz has confirmed that Liverpool have been talking with him and "it would be hard to turn down an offer".

I dont know much about him.

Ryad Boudebouz has been linked with LFC mainly in the Daily Mail going back several months. Also linked with PSG, AS Roma.

5 goal in 14 games for Sochaux so far this season.

I would say however that its the winnable games we find the toughest sometimes

I'd take 13 mil tomorrow for him, i know its early days but i had expected a lot more from him.
