    any place in dublin that have break barrel rifles.

    would have thought most dealers would have one r 2 knockin around. you lookin for new or second hand?

    I am getting a Weirauch pcp air rifle from Griffin Hawe in Kildare, I don't know what they have in stock but they might be worth a call.

    Or there is sportsden in Navan http://www.sportsden.ie/guns/gun-showroom/air-rifles.html?rifle_action=331

    I'm sure there is dealers in Dublin aswell but I wouldn't be too well up on them.

    do not go for the webley exocet,i had one and the stock cracked along the grip,fairly common with this make and not being made any more,also very twangy sound from the spring.
    whatever you get you should concider getting a gas ram and use that instead of the mainspring,much quieter and smoother also,most uk dealers have them.

    Do yourself a favour and buy a under lever stay away from the break barrels

    my hw77 is underlever not break barrel ijust noticed my mistake,iwent with it as they are ment to be more accurate than the breakbarrels

    unfortunatly yes you do so go for one of the more powerful ones, i think bazzas one is 18ft lb

    If you keep an eye in the for sale section you'll pick one up for around €100 to €200 no problem

    the only one you would get new for 200-250 would be a gamo and they arent great!second hand is the way for you to go

    The fella I go to has Gamo in stock and wouldn't even let you buy one.

    BSA, Theoben, Weirauch.... all far better machines.

    yeah thats true and the gamos are low powered,mines around 15-18ftlb

    dont get hung up on power! i used to do alot of field target shooting and hunting with air rifles and most of the new comers wanted the biggest,most powerful spring gun they could get their hands on, the lads i shot with used 12ft lb precharged air rifles as did myself,,
    my dad used an air arms tx 200 spring gun under lever it was 12ft lb in .177.. and for hunting it was a real good pot filler, anything out to 90 yards was in the bag

    agreed - it's more about being able to put the lead where you need it to go.

    I use Aim and Swing in Mountnugent.

    Huge selection there, and the main man won't point you wrong either.
