Yes it is. Also, women drivers are not better than men, they are the same. ie some are crap, some are brilliant. Also, what is sexy about a woman is not always what the marketeers tell women, its not all about being thin and svelt and stylish, somtimes a woman is just sexy, for no reason popular opinion could put its finger on.

And some types of cancer are happening with increasing frequency, and happen much more than they did in the past.

Plus, those diseases that used to be death sentences? New, more virulent strains could emerge.
But in the past there was no chance of successful treatment for cancers. Yeah new virulent strains could appear at any time. Its like an arms race, but we're better equiped than we've ever been and the technology keeps growing and refining itself.

I believe people deserve the consequences of their actions and decisions.

Most people don't seem to agree with this.

Being healthy is not my number one priority in life.

I will not cook my meat until the juices run clear, and the Safe Foods agency is a humongous waste of money.

I don't mind working for free if I know it's appreciated/beneficial, and I like to do my job well. (Unfortunately, unpopular and derided in a lot of situations, ain't that right ?)

Of course it was predictable - what with being based on Swan Lake and all! :)

Well, I must have been speaking to several "almost no ones" this morning. That you're in denial about the place of the language in Ireland's culture and history is really not something I'm going to waste my time challenging. But that you are petty and intolerant enough to want to remove it from bilingual signs says enough about your hostility to aspects of Irish culture which are not variations on English culture. Thus, supporting Irish soccer is an acceptable display of Irish culture, but supporting the Irish language isn't. And so on.

Did you even read my post? You said without the Irish language we are the same culturally as Sussex. I pointed out that this is bollocks because most people on this island:pac: don't speak the language.
    A few points:
Because you talked to a few people in Irish this morning doesn't mean thats normal for the country.
I never said it wasn't part of our culture, I just said its not our only culture.
Read back over your own posts, they're ridiculous

Hitler ruined the small mustache look for everyone. The world would have been a better place if he had dressed like a Goth or Emo instead as then we'd have less of them.

Atheists think they are more intelligent than people who believe in god.

    1) In fairness, when it comes to "ridiculous" your support for the decidedly culturally fascistic idea that Irish should be removed from all bilingual signs in Ireland is, at least, ridiculous.

    2) I did not actually say that, but don't let this minor detail get in the way of your rant. It's a fairly silly idea on your part that a language could be "the only part" of any culture or even any identity.

    3) What this really comes down to when all is said and done is that intolerant people with a chip on their shoulder about the most Irish thing of all, the Irish language, want to obliterate it from public life in Ireland and redefine Irishness in a culturally narrower way with Irish removed from it. It's really about demanding that the rest of us accept that their bigotry and intolerance be institutionalised in the state and that the Irish language part of our history and society be removed. It's about whether obscurantism will triumph over education and enlightenment, whether that be in the removal of meaningful Irish language placenames on villages or towns, or whatever.

I do too, and in any other major sporting tournaments (assuming there is no Irish interest).

I also support the preservation of our national heritage, including our language, though I admit to not being able to speak it as well as I'd like. So resolve that with the "republican gaa" guff that was spouted earlier.

I think Elvis was overrated and I can't stand Sinatra or any other crooner from the same era.

I don't find any current "supermodel" attractive, facially as well as their bodies.

The Office (British/US) is not funny

The atheists who think they're more intelligent than religious people (and I know it's only some atheists who think this way) are quite the opposite. I would see a religious person as more intelligent in general.

It's happened far more than once that I've heard an atheist refer to the fossil record as proof that no god exists.

You just proved my point. I cannot understand how people believe this. By the same token I can say anything ... such as Irish people are more smarter than English people.

And how can anyone dispute me? :) .. Because i'll just say what at you atheists say , "sure, to be honest its kinda fact we are" ... what facts :) I dont recall every Irish & English person doing an IQ test then both countries comparing to see who was smarter :P ... But if someone disputes me i'll pull something out of my ass or better yet grab something from google, slap my own bullsh*t spin on it and magically i've got "facts" ... Its all bullsh*t :)

Its quite funny tho. Its just atheists 'bigging' themselves up :)

I'm gonna take a wild guess that very, very few of the 40% of Americans who are creationists are atheist.

She is plain looking. as is Katy Perry and Angelina Jolie (except for her artificially enhanced lips).

Never, ever call Katy Perry "plain looking".

But you're right about Angelina Jolie and Kate Moss, completely meh.

Anyone who uses dyslexia as an excuse for poor spelling on internet boards should be required to submit written evidence from a medical professional to the moderators of the website in question.

In the event of such claims turning out to be false It should be legal to publish their IP address, force ISP's to disclose their identity and send a mob around to their gaf to break in, destroy their computer, break their fingers and blast them with piss.
