Been a good weekend so with regard to himself and Kelly doing well enough.

Add in Downing playing well last night - maybe we'll be in good form coming back from the break.

Thank fu*k they didn't shop Evra's head onto Scarlett Johansson's body.

I'm guessing they were afraid he would cry racism if they did.

Lads, with the February Sky/TV games being announced last year just before Christmas would it be safe to assume the Spurs home game listed for 4th Feb will be moved in some form or another when the list comes out (assuming its not till just before Christmas again) ?. If its definitely a Saturday i could hopefully get over but not on the Sunday unfortunately. Wonder if it might become the 1.30pm game Sunday.. cheers

The games from feb onwards haven't been moved for tv purposes yet.

Last year they decided this the 3rd week of December or thereabouts I was told yesterday on here by Dub13 I think.

Theres a good chance Liverpool - Spurs will be on TV I'd say.

Ya, I'd guess we will be the 1.30 kickoff on Sunday, with Chelsea Utd the 4pm one. I'd be surprised if we were left at a 3pm Saturday kick off for that to be honest.

Yes i thought it unlikely it would remain a saturday match alright. Might have to plan for another trip instead

Downing crossed for the goal, made plenty of good crosses and had a 1 on 1 which he should have scored and almost did.

I've said it a few times this season - his finishing is poor and needs work - not even one on one scenarios

he always seems to go for power when simply placing the ball - something I would've thought he'd be good at, is the better option.

Is it televised?? Hope the flatmates aren't watching anything when I get back so I can chill out watching it....if I miss it, it'll surely be replayed over the weekend right?

    Ah this is complete bollox!

So what are we going to do now? I can see Suarez getting a lenghty ban and along with Gerrard being crocked where's the class gonna come from? Henderson?

I mean to post a while back for those wondering what happened to the kid 'Nacho' that looked so impressive in his trail in the summer. He was signed and was waiting on international clearance when he broke his arm so hasn't featured yet.

Posted it on his twitter - http://twitter.com/#!/NachoHuertas10

wonder why Robinson and Flanagan aren't playing? Surely they need some match time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,267 ✭✭✭opr

Yeah he has been away on international duty with Hungry u19's which is why he hasn't featured in a while. He got two goals in three games and they scored 11 goals in total but can't see who got the assists.

it does seem like madness, I know they have featured at times on the bench with the first team squad, but they have not played for the reserves. Surely games are needed for them to kick on.

Pity its on their academy pitch or wherever it is. Silva has been impressing me more this year, hope he gets a run. Great to see Adorjan start.

Deserved lead for Sporting. Every single player in the Sporting team is so comfortable in possession of the ball.

Sporting are far technically superior to us tonight in fairness, they look a great young side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

Brad Smith is getting a real roasting, but in fairness, Sterling in front of him isn't giving him that much help.

    2-1 now (Michael N'Goo)

Just pulled one back but have to agree for a team that young Sporting are incredible to watch at times.

    another Hendo-hater?

Have you seen him play as CM this season? Did very well when he came on there against United, and is running the England u21's from there.

Are you are basing your whole opinion of him playing out of position?
