    hey Army people - you should have read the agreement properly when you opted out of a proper pension arrangement in favour of taking a big shiny lump sum.

    I dont think you can compare the British Army with the Irish Defence Forces.

    I also wouldn't compare Chad with Afghanistan or Iraq.

    Duffy thinks the solution is to raise all Public Sector workers pensions entitlements to that of TDs and Judges.

    No, no, no. It has to go the other way - bring the outrageous pensions down to the already very generous levels of ordinary Public Servants.
