Anybody know if Aldi or Lidl have the dehumidifiers in stock at the moment? Having a really bad problem with condensation at the moment.

Even if they do have them, they're useless and a waste of money. I used to use them but you don't get any decent extraction out of them - you might as well just stick down a bowl of salt. I ended up splashing out on a 10 litre Dimplex one and have never looked back.

Hey thanks. We actually have a plug in one as well but as the problem is in the bedroom and occurs from our sleeping at night I wasn't sure if it would be OK to use at night when we're asleep. It is OK to use at night? We're on night rates so wouldn't be so expensive.

Ah, I don't use mine at night. But if you use your electric one to bring the humidity level to below 40 (30 if you can get it down that low), and turn it off just before getting into bed, humidity levels shouldn't get high enough overnight to cause condensation. That's what I do anyway, and it works nicely.

If you ring their freephone number(s), they should be able to tell you of stock availability in your local shop(s).
