Was reading the announcement today that adobe are abandoning mobile flash. Now leaving aside whether Steve Jobs was right or not, what are the options to do vector graphics like flash in html5?

I'm doing some software development in an ancillary area and would like to brush up on what is out there.

    Thanks.

SVG or Canvas, you can get a plugin to export from illustrator, and there's a couple of other tools out there.

    Thanks.

I'm not a designer so I wasn't even aware that Illustrator could be used for animation to be honest.

If I was looking to read up on some of these any suggestions?
