COD MW3 Free for all Idea

    Hello gamers,

I'm a bit old school when it comes to games (N64 being my last console) and played MW3 on free for all last night and while I enjoyed it I think its a bit lacking in skill whereby everyone is legging it around killing each other and people dont seem to care if they are killed themselves.

Would it not be better to award 50 points for a kill (as it is now) and then minus 50 points when you are killed? I like the idea of not being killed alot but then less running like a lunatic means less kills too.

    Am I making sense?

You'd end up with something like this

In short it's a terrible idea. I can't think of any fps having such a harsh penalty for deaths. Things like the following would happen:

Players would be more cautious and camp or patrol certain areas to avoid exposure
More silenced weapons and defensive perks
Games go on far longer and lose interest (could be a benefit)
    Might encourage boosting
    Far more frustrating
