The smell of of the paper that annuals used to me made from when I was a child. School books too, that was the only thing I liked about school books.

    The smell of a forest.

Also the smell you get off your clothes when you come home after being out in the fresh air.

I honestly have no idea why so many people like the smell of petrol. It makes me want to vomit, as does sulphur.

I love the smells of petrol, spaghetti bolognese, steak as it's cooking, as well as quite a lot of other food related ones.

Well you should look at the positive side - you can use a portaloo at a festival without wanting to puke.

Seriously though, I'd hate to lose my sense of smell.
Does food taste different if you can't smell?

Depends on person, severity. My taste has hardly changed at all. The only difference I noticed to be honest is that morning taste in your mouth.

Two childhood smells, that you don't get a lot in Ireland unfortunately.

The first one is the first few raindrops hitting a hot asphalt road on a summer evening, just before the thunderstorm will really kick off.
You'd think it's not much of a smell, but I find it really heavy and heady and it gives me a buzzing feeling.

The second one is dry hay. Sweet and mild and relaxing... beautiful.

Skunk, and i mean the Animal skunk. In saying that, i can see why they call a particular type of weed skunk. Very very similar.

    Talcum powder is lovely.
