Just out of curiosity then, is it an age thing? If he put up a shít track that was released in 95 would it have been okay? So is it acceptable then to put up any muck you want as long as it's from before 1996 because then it's oldskool?
I use to tear the floor up to this in the Rugby Club. Stone cold classic:

For me,94/95ish was the 'peak' of this music Trance/Techno/House/Breakbeat whatever the Fook you were into.The production started to change after this time and although the sounds are better nowadays,the 'rawness' of pre 95 stuff makes it OLDSKOOL.
This is only my opinion of course
