The Catholic Church is, I imagine, a very large and expensive organisation to run and faith won't pay the bills.

I'm sitting here and the MTV music awards are on telly, Jessie J is on stage singing her song "It's all about the money" just as i'm reading this thread. Ha ha talk about the answer just landing on your lap!!!

That in itself poses its own questions.

A majority of us had sense not to be taken in by such tosh as "Communion is Sublimated Cannibalism" which likely dates from Nero's era.

That's a little too vague. To what questions do you refer?
Its not THE Catholic Church, its the Roman Catholic hierarchy!

The Catholic Church is a hierarchical organisation. To be a member of the organisation is to tacitly agree with it's objectives and methods.

Uh Im a member of the Catholic Church but Im not a Roman Catholic.

So all the members of the Church of Ireland tacitly agree with RC Bishops selling porn?

Good to know. I dont think that God will see it that way though.

I guess in any walk of life you will get a few stinkers......being Catholic doesn't make you exempt, and there are lots of Catholics.

The Bishops should have known better, and looked and watched better imo. If they knew, which is claimed, than they were not only stinkers, but idiots to boot.

Amazing - Actually, really AMAZING that it took so long for it to make 'news' though - I'm awaiting more 'news' on this news story...paper never refuses ink.

How was I to know? You didn't say.

That's not what I said. Please explain to me the difference between the two churches as I am unaware of what they might be.

Good to know. I dont think that God will see it that way though.

I'm glad I found someone who can speak for God, how will he see it?

Why thankyou for your blessing! I didn't think that you believed in muzzels zombrex, not for one minute.

Considering the Catholic Church is one of the greatest charity givers, and not only that, but invaluable dedication and 'time wise' to people, in the form of everyday people in communities, supporting charities, and gathering communities together for a purpose, in the whole world - that means a lot that they are allowed to own a publishing company that hit the 'news' -

    Thanks.

Ah sure they were just taking a literal meaning of charity when they say they are giving someone a 'hand'....;)

Zombrex, I'm surprised that you haven't been following the thread properly...and you are usually so thorough??....*Catholic tut tut...* yep..that was covered earlier..you must have missed it when you joined in...

Otherwise you would have been informed properly - without publishing your comments...without proper facts.

    That happens sometimes..:P

Ah so you don't think they should own a pornographic publishing company.

And there was I thinking that you opposed muzzeling of the Church's business ventures ;)

Ahh Zombrex, you're just being lazy now...

There are billions of Catholics, just like there are billions of Zombrex's - or people who are interested in 'God' like Zombrex is.

Read the thread and comment properly.

And do you think these billions of Catholics should be muzzled? Doesnt a priest have the right to own a pornographic publishing house?

Newsite. I answered a question that was on topic to the OP's discussion. You however have a habit of trying to engage us Catholics in a theological dispute no matter the thread or topic and want to drag it off in a different direction. Sad really.
