Meeting Someone New

Have posted here before and got some really good advice about getting over my engagement which ended last year and i guess looking for advice again. Engagement ended last October after having been together 7 years and since then other than a couple of short lived flings i have been single. Of late i suppose i have started to convince myself i will never find someone special again.

I am a very positive guy in general and have got over the relationship breakup with my ex even though her ending things hurt a lot, i have got out and socialised, joined new clubs gone on holidays and seen a bit of the world. I am genuinely happy in my life and do know i am a good person, know i have so much love and care to give but have really started to worry that I will end up alone. I am 34, majority of my friends are married.

Have loads of female friends and am constantly getting the advice that i will be snapped up in no time or asked have i met anyone yet but despite being very sociable and chatty i can be a little shy when i meet people first and guess i have become a little nervous of actually asking girls out, always seem to convince myself that women see me just as a friend, someone who is really nice but maybe too nice. I have been told i am very cute but i am only 5 foot 5 and have low self esteem around this as i know it is a turn off naturally for so many ladies.

I dunno i guess in general i just am a little confused and downbeat and looking for some advice as to how best to gey myselt out there to meet someone new again.

    Thanks, Jayo :)

You said you have lots of female friends. Ask them to set you up. Its no problem and women love doing things like that anyway.

As regards your height, and I dont mean to be clever or anything, but maybe find a woman shorter than you. I'm sure there are plenty of women looking to meet a nice guy.

Also the net might be good if you find it hard to approach.

    Good luck
