Sometimes I think it would be better if we had the same sort of "eye for an eye" system that they have in middle eastern countries... The guy should have done to him what he did to this woman.,..

Not if you do your own returns or if the accountant doesn't deem it necessary (or you don't want to pay for it).
By the time you need audited accounts to prove lack of income, you probably can't afford them and the SW don't want to know about DIY accountancy.
Ten months eh? Four months a mate of mine with 3 kids waited last year...must be on the up...
Anyway the point is that if the guy closes up tomoorrow he doesn't wander in and get a payment a fortnight later, even though he's been employing people and paying tax/VAT/rates for years...

Perhaps...but shure he's depressed now and getting a disability payment and loves the aul painting and drawing, so not that naive...
Always have to wonder about someone who looks up about a scam on the internet after they've handed over the money...
