Hye there, our band, POWER/AGE, a full ac/dc tribute band based in Dublin, are looking for a rhythm guitarist to complete a lineup.

Band will be able to start gigs as soon as possible then.

The band will play a mixture of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson material.

No timewasters please, just looking for a dedicated guitarist who enjoys playing rock n roll and has a good sense of humour!

Age and experience welcomed, but not an issue!

    PM me if interested.

We're looking for a no bull**** attached, hard working and committed rhythm guitarist who can fill the role of Malcolm Young for a new Dublin based AC/DC tribute band.

Band members are all based within the vicinity of Dublin city centre, and age ranges from mid twenties to 32 (early thirties).

Rhythm guitarist must be able to work well with others in the band.

We all get on well together, and gel together as a unit, and are very tight.

We expect to start gigging as early as the start of September, as we are well rehearsed.

    Also:

Humbucker equipped guitar is essential (Les Paul preferably)
Absolutely NO Strats, Ibanez guitars etc..

NO TIMEWASTERS, and NO EGOS. Thats the last thing we want is an ego.

    Thanks for looking.

Our AC/DC tribute band are currently in the midst of a crisis.
We have a few gigs waiting and the rhythm guitarist has pulled out at the last minute, he can't commit.

Band covers the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson years.

Rhythm guitarist must be extremely comfortable and competent.

Humbucker guitar essential, e.g- Les Paul, Gretsch. No singlecoil equipped guitars please!!

Must have good amp equipment, e.g- Marshall stacks.

No egos please and absolutely no timewasters!

Band is based in Dublin, and age range is from 27 to 32.

    Please PM me.

    Thanks.

    Hye Malice,

I created a new one as the guitarist pulled out, so I'm back to square one again looking for a new guitarist.. Is it possible if you could close the other thread and keep this one?

I've merged the two threads together so there's no need to close anything. Hope you have better luck with your next guitarist!

Any link to you guys playing?

    What gigs have you booked?

Do you get paid for the gigs you play, roughly how much?

When you say your previous Malcolm couldn't "commit", how much commitment are you talking about exactly?

    Cheers
