This link shows you how the servers will work... looks amazing, a massive improvement HOWEVER if you look at 31sec - 36 sec you will see many options for games.. am concerned that (a) the number of people will be fragmented across all custom games and (b) you might enter a game not knowing the parametres, e.g. no reneg health etc...

Does anyone share those concerns or I am I just a dope?

Nope, looks perfectly gamer friendly and idealistic. If every game was like this on console, I would consider playing FPS games on a console.
