    I just think it is an unfair advantage to some contestants, if they win the show they will be releasing an album with tracks that suit their voice so ultimately there's no point to it.

    Then you'll only get same old each week. This way both the judges and singers have to make an effort. THe judge to pick the right song and the singer to perform it.
