I don't mean a film that's crap, a film that shocks, disturbs you, I ask anyone to watch Antichrist and it will affect you. It messes with your head.

That's satire, it's not meant to be taken seriously.

Unless you find someone's extreme knowledge of the complete works of Genesis and Whitney Houston disturbing! :)

Without doubt the most disturbing, not that it shows much but it implies so much... Disgusting really now in retrospect

Hostel. Watched it when I had a pre-paid cinema pass up in Dublin and pretty much went to see everything to justify the price. I left that movie feeling physically ill.

Not disagreeing, but I thought it was funny... I'd say Christian Bale in real life would not be too unlike the Patrick Bateman character, hence how he played him so well! :D

Rise of the footsoilder. The torture scene stayed with me for a while. Very violent film.
Requim for a dream. Maybe the bleakest film I've ever seen.

A super film. One of the best British gangster films I've seen. The pizza cutter scene is class. I loved Gangster No 1 as well. Exceptionally violent too

    - but did you think it was good? I thought it was great.. love films which do this to you, it like they change your view at things.

The last one that quite shocked me was "Drive" ,

    -beginning was great -superb music,

(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9J4R4KYv-s&feature=related ...music.. :) but things went a bit crazy.. :pac:

Seeing Harvey Keitel's langer was hard to take. I've never seen the full uncut version of the nun rape scene. Supposed to be very harrowing. I thought the film had a lot to say about the power of redemption. I thought it was a very religious film, strangely enough.
