Upgrading my android.

    Hi, I want to upgrade my adroid version from 2.1 to 2.2. How do I go about this do i bring it to my carrier. My phone is a samsung europa.

    Hi HungryEmperor. There is no ned to bring it to your carrier. To update the samsung europa you need to

    1. Download and install Samsung Kies software to your PC/MAC http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobilesoftwaremanual/mobilesoftwaremanual.do?page=MOBILE.SOFTWARE.MANUAL

    2. Conect your phone up to your PC/MAC using the spplied USB cable

    3. Open Samsung Kies

    4. Kies should detect your phone and advise that there is an update available

    5. Accept any T&Cs or questions they ask you. Kies will then update your phone to 2.2.

    6. Enjoy Android 2.2 :)
