Young should have thrown in a double twist there.

    True, poor dismount in fairness.

U think it's an exaggeration to say that Liverpool were a very defensive side under houllier and rafa?

It's not chips on a shoulder if you are simply calling something up for what it is. Liverpool have played so much defensive stuff and just picked off united as we go at them in so many of these games it hasn't been funny. For Liverpool fans to complain about united "parking the bus" for this game is gross hypocrisy.

No, they're just commenting on a poor game, same as loads critcised Houllier and Rafa.

Anyway, it'll be time for the ABU remarks soon.

    Downing has been terrible

They paid silly money for him - same with Carroll.

    World class save from Evans

Evans was pulling his arm away from the ball in fairness. Would've been harsh.

If I was the marketing manager of Standard Chartered, I'd be annoyed that the lettering on Reina's jersey was white on a light coloured background.

United really getting the rub of the green with decisions since half time.

This isn't a patch on Rovers v Derry.

2nd half a bit better so far. This game would have been so much better had it been a 4pm Sunday kick off

So long as everyone says the same next time a cross hits someone's are then that would be fine. I look forward to Ray Wilkins staying consistent. :pac:

were you pissing and moaning when United beat Arsenal 8-2? Or Spurs beat Liverpool 4-0? Or Fulham beat QPR 6-0?

The amount of moaning in this thread is really annoying, I'd prefer the dick swinging contest of threads past tbh...

Well as long as they say it when the handballer is trying not handball it then fair enough. It's not like he threw his arm out at it or anything.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Lucas off....

    That's a strange substitution.

Game is crying out for Carroll.

No that's just being hypocritical you see. Carroll has only played a handful of games for Liverpool and he's only 22, yet some people deem him a failure already.
Veron, and maybe even Berbatov to a lesser degree, was signed for a similiar fee, and was a complete flop. Yet United supporters like to gloss this transfer over with the 'he did'nt settle', 'he needed to play in Keanes position' excuses.

Veron and Berbatov were world class players when they were signed. Carroll is not a world class player, so comparing his signing to theirs is ridiculous.
    Rooney on bench :(
    Nani on bench too

An odd selection alright but it's going okay so far. In Fergie we trust. Who's to say how despondent Rooney was during the week?

As a united fan I would like to see evra and downing booked. Neither acts should be tolerated.

Agreed. Football needs to look to rugby for guidance on cheating and respect for referees.
    Great save De Gea

It wasn't a great save by De Gea...it was straight at him for God's sake.

Rooney and Nani to come on and win this for United.
