Hey I just started learning the piano and i want to get a keyboard to practice. Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between graded soft touch keys and weighted keys as i was told that weighted keys were better? Or is there a difference?

If you are learning piano specifically you will need weighted keys. These are the thick, chunky, heavy keys you get on a piano and they are essential for proper piano playing, for expression etc.

If you are just learning the keys to have ago at any keyboard instrument be it the electric keyboard, organ, or whatever, then it's not as important, you would get away with the light plasticky ones you find on keyboards.
